Here at ECELA (Español y Cultura en LatinoAmerica), we welcome dozens of students to Santiago each year for unforgettable study abroad experiences. Spanish Courses

Since Spanish is a major world language and the second most spoken language in the USA, speaking Spanish is a valuable and marketable skill. Regardless of your age, career path, or current level of Spanish ability, you can benefit from ECELA's challenging coursework. Our 12 levels of Spanish courses, small classes, private lessons, and experienced teachers will help you meet your language acquisition goals. After four weeks with ECELA's immersive program, you will have received the equivalent of one college semester's worth of instruction. Transfer credits to your home college or university can be arranged.

Housing

With ECELA arranging your housing, you're guaranteed safe, clean accommodations and an easy commute to school. Options include a family homestay, a VIP family homestay, or an apartment shared with other ECELA students. The families who host ECELA students have been chosen with care. The homes have been inspected by our staff, and the families have been trained in how to relate to and provide for their student guests. We can accommodate everyone from 17-year-old students to retiree couples.

With classes always at seven or less students, you will get lots of individual attention,helping you advance quickly in learning Spanish.

 

 

Activities and Culture

When you study Spanish with ECELA in Santiago, you'll have ample opportunities to explore the vibrant city, play in the nearby Andes Mountains, and gain a greater understanding of Chile's cultural identity.
